KeyWallet – Free Password Manager
Review by on
What is KeyWallet and what can it do for you? In a nutshell, KeyWallet is a password manager, meaning it will help you manage all your passwords. This easy to use desktop application allows you to store all your passwords in a single location; when needed, you can drag and drop the password from KeyWallet to wherever it is needed.

As I am sure you already know, it is not advisable to use just one password over and over again. For example use the same password for your Facebook account, for your Gmail account, and for other online services or applications. It is better to use different passwords.

But this means you have a whole bunch of passwords you have to keep track off. Luckily for you there are specialized software applications out there that can help you manage all your passwords. One such specialized software application is KeyWallet.

There are several things you will like about this application. First of all you will like that KeyWallet is incredibly easy to use. You can create keys, which contain your log in info (username and password); when you need to access an online account for example, just drag and drop that key to the login prompt. Then you will like that all your passwords are stored in a secure manner. Since your passwords are the key to accessing various online accounts, it makes sense to protect them – that is why KeyWallet encrypts all the data it stores.

You will also like that you can customize the way KeyWallet looks. The application comes with support for skins; and you can download skins from the web. Last but not least, you will like that you can use KeyWallet free of charge for as long as you want (donations are encouraged though).

If you were looking for a free, easy to use, skinable password manager, you have found a match in KeyWallet.

Pros
  • Lightweight download size
  • Easy to use
  • Add data manually or through a wizard
  • KeyWallet is browser independent
  • Encrypts your data
  • Skins can be downloaded off the web
  • Free

Cons
  • None that I could think of

Additional details on KeyWallet are available on the application’s official site here.
